About us

PROMET is a Polish enterprise with over 65 years of tradition, which has been continuously developing alongside Polish industry for decades. Located in Sosnowiec, in the heart of the Dąbrowa Region, in the central part of the Silesian Voivodeship.

Our history dates back to 1958, when, as the “Rękodzieło” Cooperative, we began producing small metal accessories. Over time, thanks to the determination, skills and hard work of our team, we transformed into a modern manufacturer of electrotechnical equipment.

OUR OFFER

Today, PROMET is one of the leading Polish manufacturers of electrotechnical equipment for low-voltage installations. We specialize in products intended for industrial automation, cranes, machines and devices. Our wide range includes, among others: control buttons and control boxes, signal lamps, cam switches, limit and miniature switches, as well as fire protection system components.

Our products are characterized by high-quality workmanship, reliability and durability, which is why they are readily chosen by customers from various industries.

PROMET products are used in heavy industry, mining, metallurgy, energy, rail transport, the food industry, as well as in shipbuilding.

SOCIAL MISSION

What sets PROMET apart from other manufacturers is its deeply rooted social mission. As a Cooperative of the Blind, for over six decades we have been giving people with disabilities the opportunity to perform dignified, active and meaningful work. We employ a significant part of our team from among people who are blind or visually impaired, as well as people with other disabilities. In this way, we show that disability does not have to mean exclusion from the labour market.

We create conditions in which people with disabilities can fully use their skills, gain experience and build their careers. For years, our business activity has served as a real form of social support.

For our consistent efforts to employ people with disabilities, we have received the prestigious “Lodołamacz” award many times in the “Socially Sensitive Employer” category. This award is not only a recognition for us, but above all a confirmation that the path we have chosen is the right one.
